Festival of Wreaths

This festive annual fundraiser features wreaths decorated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. Wreaths are donated and are sold to the highest bidder through an online auction and gallery opening event on Wednesday, November 15.

All donated wreaths will be on display at the Aurora History Museum’s Community Gallery where they can be viewed by thousands of individuals from Tuesday, November 7 to Sunday, December 10.

This year’s proceeds will go towards the restoration and installation of Aurora’s

iconic Cactus Motel Sign that once graced Colfax Avenue. The sign’s new

permanent home will be in the Ruth Fountain Gallery. In addition, a portion

of the funding will also go to support the museum’s education programs and

community events.

Join us for the gallery opening celebration of the 24th Annual Festival of Wreaths fundraiser, organized by the Aurora Museum Foundation.

Check out this year’s lineup of festive holiday wreaths created by community partners and friends of the museum. Bid in person, on Nov. 15 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

During the opening night come mix and mingle over delicious hors d'oeuvre. Enjoy a variety of festive entertainment and learn more about what is coming to the Aurora History Museum in 2024.
